Within these 2 years, I’ve been doing a lot of travelling, cuti-cuti China. I will try to share those experiences more later on. For now, the ‘vacation plan for 2009’ should be on priority. It seems to be so irrational to plan for vacation during such economy uncertainty period. Well, I already have two trips lining up so far and I’m so looking forward to.
1st trip of the year, the CNY ‘balik kampung’ trip for whole family, in facts, there will be families. 36 of us will be heading to Hainan Island in China. I would think it is kind of miracle to hold up each and every individual in the family to participate in this expedition. None single close relative’s individual going to spend their CNY in Malaysia this year. From age 3 – 80 will be going (ok, that’s not really true but same connotation).
I won’t be joining the rest in a bus ride to KL airport from PG. OK… not saying that I’m not into the family things but it will just meaning extra car making our already going to crawl PLUS North South Highway and joining the troop jam all the way back to KL again after CNY. So I believe I’m not that idiotic to do those, hence, going to see the rest in the airport then.
2nd trip will be on May during the UEFA final period. Krabi Krabi Krabi, finally a bitch beach vacation. Don’t ask me why May and why Krabi. It was fixed, and not says I care when it is FREE. Yeah, all covered FOC trip. When it is free, you don’t really care when or where, do you?
OK, we won the trip through some hardcore ass kicking competition by Heineken. Obviously, the trip is sponsored by Heineken. Actually, it was a flash games competition only lar. 3 made up a team and competing with the rest of 9 teams from The Stars, SinChew, NSTP, Malay Mails etc, and the top 4 teams go into semi final. The remaining 4 teams’ competed and the 2 winners will be fighting for the free trip in final.
KY played the 1st game and quite consistently having the same time score each time. Suan started normal and getting better each time making the winning count end of the day. As for me, since it was a Heineken event, the more booze consumed over the time, the worst my performance become. Pretty normal isn’t it? I almost screwed up the final. Thanks to the opponent team which from KLUE magazine, they screwed up more making us having a marginal victory over them and yooo… here we come Krabi.
Though lost to us, the KLUE team still published our victory over them in their magazine.

KY: I’m not going for dinner; need to attend a Heineken event. I need to bring 2 more people. You wanna go?
ME: hmm.. ok, since nothing much to do, why not.
(Half way driving, Suanie called asking where we going for dinner)
KY: Suanie said if you willing to pick her up, she can join us for the event since we are still lack of 1 people.
ME: OK, not a big problem picking her up. Just need some U-turn
