It was another eventful weekend despite the excessive mileage, there was this very 1st major Nuffnang party in Malaysia for 2009 took place at the Maison in KL. It was the very 1st invites I got from Nuffnang and no way was I going to waste it by going alone. So I got Putri as my date for the night.

Putri & Me
The evening was still bright when we arrived yet I couldn’t recognize this Phua Chu Kang style’s Village People
Kim. Her face was almost 60% covered by sunglasses, a Bob the builder’s construction hat and a fake-plan moustache which was kinda cool actually.
Got spanner some more, dun pray pray
Most of the familiar faces were there and some of them took me a while to figure out what’s hidden beneath makeup and accessories. This should be it for a costume party, shouldn’t it? Sorry to say that I was not really into the theme. I was planning to go as Justin Lo with a cap and a jacket but the jacket ended up got abandoned, hung in the car whole night long. Well, I thought movement without a jacket would be more freely, no? Well, even with just a cap on, a few still couldn’t recognize me until I did some wild child act that dug out their memory.
The night was full of games and competition. It was amusing to see impersonate celebrities sang and shake their butt on the stage. Some just danced like a malfunction robot trying to find its way. An electronic drum was setup for you to have fun with and there was also this small stage for you to act silly with a selection of songs of your wish and videotaping it.
The anime singers, take a guess
A costume event would not be complete without identifying the best impersonate dresser. Bob Marley for the win with no hesitation from the crowd. Everyone was happy to see him walked home with a Sony PS3. There were also some other prices for best dressed etc which some might be disputing on its result Oh ya, our friend HuaiBin got himself a broom for worst impersonating price. I don’t have the pictures, too lazy to squeeze to the front with all the photographers. You may refer to this post for a more pictures and links.
He is white and I only realized that when he went on stage

There were also buffet line for some awesome food and free flow of beers which was not my cup of tea. Last but not least, the event wouldn’t be this successful without Liang, the most humorous emcee of the night who made everyone laughed their lungs out before they even know it.
We didn’t join the rest on the dance floor in the later part. We headed off early for some good rest preparing for another long journey to the south for Oasis.
The evening ended with this awesome scenery
No price for guessing location right
