Name, such an ordinary term yet so important to almost everyone and everything in this world. Please tell me who or even what on earth do not have a name? I’m not able to even come out with one. Everything needs a label to distinguish one from another although it might be similar one on different faces when it comes to humans or animals. So in general, we can classify name as something supposed to be unique individually may it be alphabets, numbers, or symbols.
So, throughout our entire life, we will come across names that relates to us. You’d be labeled as baby once you were born. And most likely you would be given a name boy boy or girl girl perhaps. Then you will have an official identity name as some comic maniac parents might name their kids with some extraordinary superheroes like this one, Batman bin Suparman.

Soon enough, you will realize that more names eventually linked up with your life. Nick name, username, account name, social name, domain name, brand name etc. And for me, my parents helped in naming my last name Horng, which confused a hotel’s moron receptionist in Johor who registered in the system during check-in as Horny. Eventually, I had to submit the receipt with my name printed Cxxx Hxxx Horny to HR department for a claim. With this incident revealed to KY, now I’m officially known by the name Horny in my social life in KL. With the help of Information Technology and connectivity, the name extended to even family members who previously have no idea what I did out from home before Facebook and blog insight.

Day to day confusion
I do not have a Christian name and this nick is way too catchy comparing to my normal Chinese name. Now, I am known as Horny more than my real name. From the bright side, people remember me easily. LOL. With this write up, I’ll just paste this over to those who ask me why Horny in the future.
