2 weekend back, Suanie invited me for a waterfalls trekking organized by Yoonkit. Initially, I was kind of reluctant not knowing 80% of the names in the list. However, I was talking to myself, rather than staying at home mushrooming, why not I stay healthy with outdoor activity at the same times knowing more friends? So I accepted the invite and Suanie told me her boss will be there also and I’ll like him because he’s a funny guy and yes she was so right. Sorry lar Gier, you are funny.
I’m lazy at current moment, therefore you may refer to comprehensive coverage by suanie here. What I’m going to do here is to share some of the pictures we took along this awesome trek just behind Zoo Negara. So expect lots of pictures. Remember to try the nasi lemak 3rd stall after you enter the side path beside the main entrance of Zoo Negara. It was worth trying before the hardcore trekking.
Kampung Nasi Lemak FTW
Journey started with the 1st mini pit stop
Waterfall #1
Soon enough we reached the 1st waterfall. Not super astonishing but good enough for a “wah” after hike. Stopped by for 10mins or so before we continue venture deeper for 2nd waterfall.
Those were the path we went through. Most of the time we just follow the river, occasionally using the river bank. Suanie obviously not very happy with the route created by parang (knife) bought by Yoonkit.
Along the way, trying to play with my camera abit
It was fun hopping from rocks to rocks and simply walked along the water flow.
When you were in front or last in the troop, what you do? you take pictures.
Waterfall #2
The 2nd water was able to amaze us more. it was beautiful. we had some rest in between of the waterfall where Anita on blue was standing.
Waterfall #3 with everyone there, except me taking this photo.
From waterfall #2 to this one really need some hard work man. suanie claimed that’s the most adventurous path she ever did. Finally we were at the final destination and lunch was taken here. This waterfall pours from the highest peak among 3 and it was at least 5 – 6 storeys height.
had a nice rest there and kind enough to give way to Han
Practicing some yoga shit and water was too strong to stand still.
We had fun and got wet from this waterfall #3 and so did the leeches. There was a hole behind the pouring where you can actually sit in it. and i believe there’s where i got bitten by 3 leeches.
dammit blood sucker.
Spot the differences
TOP – Before | Bottom – After
It was not particularly hard for me but it was certainly exciting and memorable. This 7 hours trek was exhausting but you will definitely felt great after it. Nice knowing Gier, Anita, Ditesh, Han, LiSin, Kelly and May. Thanks YoonKit for a being a great guide.
Your question: When you were in front or last in the troop, what you do? Answer: If you in front, please make sure the path you are using are safe, no rocky / slippery path. If you are behind, make sure you keep up! LOL..
Good lah, go exercise once awhile. Stay healthy, except the nasi lemak.
Fun trek to nature & looks like u enjoyed the water more than anything else.
