One fine afternoon, Kim asked us for dinner at Frontera and without hesitation, I accepted since I dine there once and it was kinda good. I was expecting the usual gang to be there but ended up only me, Kim and Shaolintiger.
Without 2nd thought, we ordered all the dishes recomended by the owner Larry himself. We ordered 3 appetizers for starter. Crispy Nanchos, Habanero Wingz with highest spiciness level request as challenge and my favour of all three, the Chilli Con Carne which definitely a must try item.

I had Chimichanga for main without even knowing what it will be like when I agreed to go with that. It turned out to be very good. Tender and brittle on the outside, stuffed beef was juicy and creamy. If not of the recomendation, I wouldn’t be able to order that by myself. Kim had beef Enchiladas which was very rich and creamy as well. Truly Mexican! on the other hand, Shaolintiger ordered the all time best Chilli Cheeseburger. Will try this my next visit.

We shared Lime Pie and Deep Fried Cheesecake for dessert. Lime Pie, the name tells it all, very rich yet refreshing. Very weird combination but I like it. The extraordinary Deep Fried Cheesecake was very fulfilling too. Combining crispy and creamy in a single bite was SOLID. I believe it will be better if it’s still really cold internally covered with warm skin. Well, it is always easier to say then doing it in actual.

Food and beverage always comes in pair, when there’s a lot of food, it always pair with plentty of drink especially with Larry’s generousity introduced us with all types of Tequila and cocktails. Don Julio shot, Patron shot, home brewed Jalapeno shot, Jalapeno magarita, peanut colada, beers… okie, I’m too blur to remember all those.
Evil Drinkssss
Highlight of the night was fresh habanero fear factor challenge. Kim had the 1st half bite and I finished the rest. Initially I refused to do it as I know the spiciness will be a bitch combining both devil and evil, vampire and lycan. Eventually i did it after the persuasion from Larry and the curiosity in me wanting to know how spicy it could be considering my ability in taking spicy’s tolerance level is high.
Habanero
If someone tell you try it to feel it, please don’t listen to them. I’m kind enough to advice you this, DO NOT DO IT! It will hurt you from top to bottom, mouth and stomach after 5 seconds having it and haunt you even the next day while doing your business. For me, overload of food and alcohol + the spiciness resulting cleaning up my own throwing after 5 mins of suffering. FML. My leg exposed to my puke still burning after I took my bath and it was at least 45mins away. Yeah, this was how spicy it can be. Still not believing me? Check out the video taken by Shaolintiger below.
Overall, it was a wonderful dinner. Delicious food, kinky beverages, burning experince, great hospitality and nice company. Thanks Shaolintiger for spending.
Their spices are different then the sambal or chili padi. Still, I will just stay away from anything that is spicy. Mild is how I like my food…. a bit of spicy is ok, but not TOO spicy. Get it?
Name for ur main course is so weird. The actor & actress in the clip is definitely skillful huh.:)
