When most of the famous bloggers were out of town attending Grammy Awards Nuffnang Awards down at Singapore, me on the other hand invited for Akon Freedom Beach Concert 09 by Chivas. There is no other beach to held a concert in KL other than Sunway surf beach for this awesome invites. This year alone I was there 3x already for concerts (BEP & Eason).

It may looks like we were located quite far from the stage, in fact, it was all good. You will know why as you scroll down. There were 2 special Chivalry islands with free flow of Chivas exclusive for invites. How could a concert can be better than that? Ok, it may, only if the rock we sat could be slightly softer then it would be perfect. (too much for a request isn’t it?)

Akon was near to the crowd most of the time with the sign, “pls molest me if you can”

The dude was so considerate to sprinkle at least a dozen of holy water (mineral water) onto the crowd to cool them down. Now just imagine, if you were that front, not too sure you gonna get wet from the sprinkled water or the salty fluid secreted by your surrounding.

This Akon was such a crazy buster all night long. He just simply dived into the crowd not once but many times. Worst was his attempts to walk on top of his crowd from stage to the back (almost 80 meters away). Really pity those who was under his path all the way. But they got to molest him ‘Kau Kau’ lar. I remember someone told me she is going to grab his crotch if she’s under there.

The party didn’t just ends when the concert finished. All Chivas invites was allow to continue the fun at MOS. Akon supposed to be there but it was rumored that he was arrested due to the half naked performance all night long. Well, not sure how true it was but if that’s the case, we are doing a great job to piss all those international artists making a stop here.
To me the session at MOS was remarkably memorable and why should I care if Akon was there or not.
