I was suppose to be in Bali during May but plan screwed and this is how Air Asia get richer with every low fare promotion they launched. I was not in total disappointment as I will get to save the money I’m going to spend during the trip by burning the air ticket. OK, never mind, it doesn’t make sense to some of you I think.

The one and only holiday plan for 2010 is gone and soon enough this unplanned cuti-cuti Malaysia to Redang Island materialized  in conjunction to my diving course I took out of sudden. It was initiate by someone else which benefited me in the end. A paradise get away was what I wanted so much to temporarily ignoring the hectic stressful office work.

So, on top of certified as licensed diver, I got to enjoy in paradise for 3 days. Crystal clean water with clear blue sky accompany by white fine sandy beaches never fail to excite me.

View from Redang Bay Resort

Just check out the crystal clear water. Its a huge salt water swimming pool which will lure you into it every time looking at it.

When the sun is up, eat-dive-talk-eat-rest-dive-swim were what we did repetitively. When Mr. Sunny clock-out, it’s time for God to transform into Evil Demon and Holy Angel metamorphosed to wicked Fiend.

Redang Bay at night – First Nite

First night was solely having fun among our own group but when the darkness strikes on the 2nd and final night, we got into some interesting cultural exchange session with the Redang’s native friends. The drinking games were simply crazy. Lucky that I was not feeling well for alcohol level challenges else I’m pretty sure I will be puking my stomach out.

The challenges begin

You may see there were fairly few of us versus whole big Redang group of 7-8. As result, those involved in the games drunk like a proper drunkard. Prove? check out the below.

Acrobatic Drunken God

Things started to get more fun when the clock hit 3am when Fireangle decided to venture towards the sea middle of a dark night all by herself trying her luck fishing some sea monster or water ghost.  Soon enough everyone who was still awake joined her and it turned out to be a session with ummphhh…. Climax of the trip.

There’s a boat by the shore which got molested thoroughly by 5 of us. Yeah blame it on the alcohol but there were 2 who was actually 100% sober. What you gotta say about it then? We are fun people to hang out with YEAH… (syiok sendiri) Wanna know more? check out Kim’s write up on this.

Almost ripped the whole blardy boat

The fun continued with some timer multiple shots feature available on my camera.

Posing with timer on with flash | managed to captured some1 fell from boat

When your camera do have long lasting battery life, you don’t charge it as frequent right? So with the hardcore continuing flashing, the battery life almost drained dry. No flash didn’t stop us from proceeding further. Not at all. Once Endorphin kicks in, it is hard to stop.

We used torch light to continue with multiple shots camwhoring

R18 (Restricted to adults over 18 only) type of conversations were going on for more than 30mins in the room before everyone starts the snoring progress around 5am in the morning. Kim participated using her BBM (Blackberry Messenger) in the other room.

My plan to wake up early on the last morning for some nice sunrise photo shots obviously FAIL. Although I was not able to wake up early enough for the sunrise, I was still the 2nd earliest person and managed to walk over to the other side of the beach to check out the famous MoMoTee Chalet.

Group Pic of us before leaving paradise & back to hell

Sotong | Fireangel | Edvin | Joe | God | Haze | KY | Kim | Me

Going back was all fun together. Leaving the island on Peter Stuyvesant style’s speedboat which make the pictures taken in it looks like we were on a roller coaster. Had keropok lekor and lemang along the route back to hell was all good.

Final bit of enjoyment before heading back to hell (KL)
